Over the last ten years or so, I have worked on our family tree. I have traced names, places and people. Sometimes I will run across someone who knows where a burial plot is of one of our ancestors. In a nut shell, here is a little bit of information on a few of our relatives. Roberta Boden took us to a cemetery in Wharton, Ohio and shown us where relatives are buried. There were no markers, head stones or foot stones. As it would have become too costly for one person to purchase stones, we as a family created the auction at our family reunions. The auctions have paid for the stones and for those who have not seen your dollars at work, I am including pictures. The oldest dates for a Boden were John and Elizabeth Boden. John 1747 and Elizabeth 1751. Wesley John Boden was in the Civil War, and I think John was the first to come to America. We came from Germany. I have listed some names and dates of our family members of long ago. If anyone knows anything about these people, let me know! That's where our history begins, in the colonies, (in this country), Revolutionary War perhaps, Declaration of Independence, maybe a Boden kicked Cornwallis in the butt in Oct. 1781, as he surrendered at Yorktown. If a Boden was there, you know he would have been involved. Does anyone know about these Bodens? James E. Boden , Amanda Carr Boden or Amanda Boden Carr These Bodens were buried at Big Prairie, Ohio If you know anything, contact me. Thanks, Bob Boden Bodens in the Civil War: William W.
